2019 Holiday Care Package Project
We are excited to announce details for our 2019 Holiday Care Package Project! Once again we will be providing Thanksgiving care packages to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing and Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. We will also be providing Christmas Day support to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids and Hurley Children’s Hospital in Flint in addition to Sparrow and Bronson – 480 care packages total! Your tax deductible gift of $100 will help provide 40 families with support. Group/Corporate sponsors will receive mention on social media, our webpage, and within the care packages themselves. NICU Throwback Monday
A little #throwbackMonday to our Sparrow Hospital days with Allison. This particular visit was about a week long after a scary CPR event at home. Over the course of the week I was able to leave our hospital room just a handful of times – a couple of quick showers, a couple of runs down the hall for coffee or pop from the machine, and a few chance meals from the cafeteria when a Child Life volunteer was able to sit with Alli. Today we had the opportunity to work with a team of volunteers from Emergent BioSolutions in Lansing, MI! In just under an hour these amazing ladies packed 170 Thanksgiving food care packages and more than 200 toiletry bags! Incredible!
