Thanks Emergent BioSolutions!

We were super excited to visit our friends at Emergent BioSolutions in Lansing to pack bags this morning! This group is super efficient: they packed 900 bags in just over an hour! It’s a Princess Alli Foundation record for sure! THANK YOU for inviting us back and supporting our care package project! I wanted to publicly thank all of you who came out tonight to pack care packages on such short notice. Moments like tonight, where such an overwhelming amount of support appeared with hours notice, just reaffirms to me how special Allison is and what an important thing this is that we do in her memory and honor. We packed all of our Christmas care packages in a matter of 36 minutes with this amazing group!! That has to be a record!! Thank You Emergent BioSolutions!

Today we had the opportunity to work with a team of volunteers from Emergent BioSolutions in Lansing, MI!  In just under an hour these amazing ladies packed 170 Thanksgiving food care packages and more than 200 toiletry bags!  Incredible! We enjoyed getting to work with you, and look forward to volunteering with you again next month!  Thank you!! Thank You Witron Families!

On November 11 we had the privilege of meeting and packing care packages with several families from Witron!  This was a super nice, super fun, and super efficient crowd! THANK YOU to Witron for sponsoring November and December food care packages to Sparrow Hospital!  We appreciate your generosity!

2nd Annual Holiday Care Package Project

This past week we wrapped up our 2nd Annual Holiday Care Package Project with a Christmas Eve delivery to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI, and a Christmas Eve Eve toiletry delivery to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI! This year we were able to provide another 440 food care packages, 150 toiletry packages, and additional food items to Michigan children’s hospitals.  We are so very humbled by the generous support this project has received again this year!  We are also very grateful for our friends at Michigan State University and the Upward Bound program for helping us pack all of our holiday bags! Family Bible Church Junior High Service Project

On Tuesday, September 27 the Junior High Youth from Family Bible Church in Marshall, MI helped pack food and toiletry care packages for our Hospital Care Package Project! In 1/2 hour, this amazing group of teens packed 160 food care packages to bring to Sparrow Hospital, and 180 toiletry care packages for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Bronson Children’s Hospital, and Hurley Medical Center! Each food care package contains a bottle of water, a granola bar, a pack of crackers or rice crispy treat, and of course chocolate!  The toiletry care packages provide a wide range of personal hygiene products including shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, lotion, a toothbrush and toothpaste.  To […]

Welcome HURLEY Families to our Care Package Program

Princess Alli Foundation is excited for the opportunity to partner with Hurley Medical Center to provide Toiletry Care Packages to families at their Children’s Hospital!  Our first care package delivery was made on July 9, 2016! Generous donations from the communities of Flint and Flushings, including families at Flushings United Methodist Church, have made this expansion possible! Our goal is to create a sustainable program that will allow us to provide toiletry care packages to families with children at the hospital that may have arrived with little or no personal belongings.  We are in need of the following sample/trial size items for our toiletry bags: Shampoo Conditioner Body Wash or Bar Soap Toothbrushes Toothpaste Dental Floss Deodorant Face/Makeup Wipes […]

2016 Sparrow Children’s Miracle Network Telethon

We were proud to volunteer at the 2016 Sparrow Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, which was held on June 3rd and 4th at the Sparrow Professional Building in Lansing, MI.  This was our 2nd year being a part of the Telethon! Here are a few pictures from the event: The Telethon was a huge success, raising over $868,000 for Sparrow’s Children Center!  Great work everyone!

MUMC – Missions Cafe

THANK YOU! To the Youth and Congregation of Marshall United Methodist Church in Marshall, MI!      This past Sunday the Youth Group opened their “Mission Cafe” and offered snacks and drinks by donation with the proceeds benefiting Princess Alli Foundation!  Their efforts not only raised enough funds to purchase our first Holiday Care Package Sponsorship, but also provide more than three weeks of food and toiletry care packages to Sparrow Health System!   In addition to fundraising, the Junior High Youth made “Busy Bags” full of kids activities for our inpatient friends.  Thank you for helping us support the families of children with illnesses!  There are still several sponsorship […]
