
Princess Alli Foundation Family Assistance Grant Program
Purpose: The Princess Alli Foundation Family Assistance Grant Program provides financial support to families of children and dependent adults facing medical challenges. Grants may be used to cover essential medical-related bills and expenses, as well as supplemental support for caregivers during inpatient stays, including gas and meal assistance. This program is designed to ease the financial burden on families during times of medical crisis, while honoring the dignity and resilience of each child we serve.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
- The patient is 18 years old or younger, OR
- The patient is over 18 and permanently disabled, living at home and requiring full-time care from a parent or guardian.
Additional requirements:
- The patient must reside in the United States
- The financial need must relate to a medical or caregiving expense not fully covered by insurance or assistance from other organizations
- The family must demonstrate financial need
Grant Amounts & Budget:
- Grants are awarded up to $2,500 per quarter, with a total annual budget of $10,000
- The Foundation reserves the right to adjust award amounts based on urgency, need, and available funds
Application Requirements: Families must submit a completed application form including:
- Patient and guardian information
- Area of medical concern
- Physician or therapist contact details
- Description of the financial need and estimated cost
- Two denial letters from insurance or other organizations
- Income range selection
- Optional letter of support from a medical provider
- Signed attestation and consent forms
Verification & Consent: To ensure responsible stewardship of funds, applicants must:
- Certify the accuracy of submitted information
- Consent to optional contact with their child’s physician or therapist
- Agree to a media release for promotional purposes (optional but encouraged)
- Accept a hold harmless agreement releasing the Foundation from liability related to the application process
Review Process: Applications are reviewed upon receipt by the Foundation’s Board. Families will be notified of decisions within 2–4 weeks of submission. All information is handled in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and stored securely.
