Happy 3rd Anniversary Princess Alli Foundation! Three years ago we made our first care package delivery to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. This year we are fast approaching 9,000 bags and have sent care packages to families at seven hospitals! THANK YOU for all of your support over these past 2 years! Happy Birthday Armando! In January, Melanie’s dear friend Armando hosted a birthday fundraiser to support Princess Alli Foundation and three other nonprofits benefitting children with craniofacial defects. Armando’s fundraiser was a huge success – he raised $560!! We wanted to do something special with our portion of the funds he raised, so we are sending 60 of our toiletry care packages to families currently at Medical City Children’s Hospital, where Armando received treatment for Treacher Collins Syndrome as a child. I wanted to publicly thank all of you who came out tonight to pack care packages on such short notice. Moments like tonight, where such an overwhelming amount of support appeared with hours notice, just reaffirms to me how special Allison is and what an important thing this is that we do in her memory and honor. We packed all of our Christmas care packages in a matter of 36 minutes with this amazing group!! That has to be a record!!
